Van Morrison and the Chieftains - Irish Heartbeat (1988)

Van Morrison went back to root by collaborating with traditional Irish band The Chieftains. They did some great versions of traditional Irish folk songs as well as Morrison's own "Irish Heartbeat" and "Celtic Ray". Irish folk rock was popular in the late 80s as was partly nourished by US heartland rock revival. B
