Coverdale/Page - Coverdale/Page (1993)

Old competitors turned ally decades later. David Coverdale of Deep Purple and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin teamed up for this one-off album. They start with a slow-hoarse moan by Coverdale that soon turns into a high-pitch yell in Robert Plant style as the drum and guitar storm loudly in "Shake My Tree". Many tracks do sound like Led Zeppelin's with the complex, John Bonham-style drumming by Denny Carmassi of Montrose (Sammy Hagar's old band) and Plant-imitating vocal by Coverdale. On "Pride and Joy", Page played the dulcimer and electric harmonia in Middle-Eastern flavor. One more notable track is "Absolution Blues". B
