Being consistent on working-class idea, Bob Seger and his band made this album with old style rock and roll tinged with gospel and soul tone from his home state Michigan. His music was certainly a contrast to the electronic-dominance sound at that time but Seger was always his own man. "Shame on the Moon" was a big hit but the rocking moments come around "Makin' Thunderbirds" and "Boomtown Blues". C
