The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - East West (1966)
Paul Butterfield's blues was not generic. They came with mercury feel and pop appeal, thus probably the reason his band was recruited by Bob Dylan when he went electric. The last track, "East West", is a long instrumental epic that blends voodoo rhythm and Indian raga, must be influential back then. B
