Ry Cooder - Get Rhythm (1987)

As usual, Ry Cooder was deep in the roots here. After the rhythmic "Get Rhythm", comes "Low Commotion" with the slide guitar moving like the Stones' "No Expectation". Then the album continued with some traditional Hawaian songs till another slide guitar instrumental track, "I Can Tell by the Way You Smell", brought back the blues. There is also one of his identical Irish-style ballad, "Aross the Borderline". C
