Orhestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Architecture and Morality (1981)

During the synth-pop era, Orchestral Maneuvres in the Dark was in quite different league with bands like, say, Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys. OMD's, especially their first album, was progressive synth-pop. Lots of experimentation on synthesizer here but "Joan of Arc" and "Maid of Orleans" were accessible enough to reach a wide audience. C
