Montrose is the self-titled and first album by Sammy Hagar's pre-Van Halen band, where he worked with prominent guitarist Ronnie Montrose. It was highway-rock and both Montrose and Hagar were no great writer yet. The remarkable track is the cover of Roy Brown's 1947 classic "Good Rockin' Tonight". C
