Deep Purple - Burn (1973)

"Burn" was phenomenal. It was an anthem for a generation and is the last great song ever produced by Deep Purple. The song showcases the virtuosities of guitarist Ritchie Blakmore and organist Jon Lord when they were taking turn demonstrating their ingenious skill, backed by a powerful vocal of the then-unknown David Coverdale. Unfortunately, the rest of the album are incoherent as the band's new mark III lineup was switching to funk. C
